Kin is the fluffiest, warmest and most energetic music and poetry open-mic in the world. The uniquely wonderful audience are at least half the show and give unconditional love to performers who can't fail but be swept away by the electricity of the night.
And its fortnightly open-mic sessions at the Waverley, the Forest and the Cafe Royal (where it currently resides) have provided servings of acoustic soup for Edinburgh crowds since January 2001.
- Gently simmer a freshly picked crop of locally grown poets, singers, players and story-sayers on a warm stage
