**Dear Kinfolk**

What marvelous high times and close-knit goodwill we had at KiN in 2009. Facing the 2010 horizon we are keen to retain the energy and spontaneity and are having a rethink of the KiN formula. So for now we are taking the KiN kettle off the stove.

Which means no January KiN or February KiN at least!

Beyond that it's hard to say. When we reappear, which we will, it may be in a more sporadic fashion: KiN Tea Dances, KiN festival appearances, KiN market stalls, for example, and who know what else. Suggestions for venues and happenings are very welcome.

Obviously we're a bit sad to leave a Second Wednesday bereft of KiNness, but we know your good-times sensors will lead you to substitutes. Sometimes you gotta kill your darlings to make great art. And Freshness rules.
